Timeraiser Rocks!

Went to Timeraiser event last night and was so great to see 15 minutes into the bidding 80% of the art was gone and by the end 98% of the art was bid to the max!  A volunteer will do 125 hours of community work for my piece...my hat is off to them!

Fun Commission

A new client and a commission to create an assemblage with her grandfather's harmony saxophone.  Looking forward to the creative collaboration with her.  Lots of ideas spinning..will need to do a bit of research on my part and some old photos and letters from her.  This is going to be fun!

Travels

I am a bit behind in my travel posts but I thought I would tease you with this photo from Santa Fe, New Mexico.  This is a pueblo in Taos where they have been living for over 1000 years.  I will get my photos together soon of Europe and New Mexico.

Altared Triangle

New show of my photo collages from Asia at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre (www.thecultch.com), 1895 Venables Street, Vancouver, BC on October 25 to November 7, 2010.  This venue has gone through an amazing face lift over the past few years and the building itself is worth a visit.  Visuals of the show below.
