Route 66

While I was in Santa Fe I went on a road trip on a little bit of Route 66 in New Mexico and Arizona.  On the way we stopped at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, Acoma "the city in the sky" pueblo, the Painted Desert,  the Petrified Forest and ended on the Turquoise Trail.  Below are some photo highlights of the trip.

There are 600 petroglyphs in this part of the park.

It is all about the land in this part of the country.
